I take lisinopril twice a day for high blood peressure a beta blocker twice a day metapropol a statin (simvastatin)once a day for slightly elevated cholestorel. Then I take fish oil once per day, one aspiir in the morning, hydrochlororothizide to release water from my body I take once per day. I don't drink, nor smoke but engage in sexual release.

I have never had a stroke nor heart attack and yet I have gone to the hospital after taking my medication and my blood pressure has been as high as 200 and they have to put me on 2 pills of medication to drastically reduce my blood pressure. It is a form of white collar syndrome they say with high blood pressure even while on my medications. Presently I am age 62 and rarely exercise

I read an article in Health Journal, June 24th, about Vicor's PD2i Cardiac Analyzer. It uses an algorithm that can assess a patient's risk risk to die from Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) by analyzing heart beats. The PD2i has the ability of predicting SCD, with greater than 95% sensitivity and 81% specificity within a six month period. The test can be administered in a cardiologist's office in 20 minutes. This device could save a number of lives.
