Anything that can make a patient's life more confortable is borh needed and welcomed!

When and where can we get more info? What's it called? Who makes it?

i think, dialysis is still more effective...it prolong the life of the patient with end stage renal disease. it only needs a very cooperative/copmliant patient.

Interesting, is this a new device that's being developed or is this just what someone would like to see? Who's the manufacturer and how close are they to trials?

Until that 'One Day' arrives perhaps a story on the benefits of daily dialysis vs the thrice weekly in-center dialysis would serve the dialysis community better.

I was lucky to receive a transplanted kidney from a close relative after only 3 months on peritoneal dialysis, but know that it's only a temporary measure at worst and hope it lasts for 10 - 20 years at best.

However, it is heartening to know that there are always improvements coming through that improve the lives of people with kidney disease.

Congratulations to the researchers behind this development.
