I was 11 yrs old. I was doing good until the year 2000. My life is going down hill from that, I go into DKA really fas and I did not change anything that I eat. I volunteer at our hospital in our area. Im going to get a pances tranplant we are going to the doctor here on March 10th go over the transplant stuff.

I hope they find a cure soon, I've had this disease for 6 years and I am 16, 17 this month. I really want to be cured soon so I can join the military once I'm out of high school. I really want to join the marines but of course, I'm unable with diabetes. I owe my life to those who are working to find a cure. Thank you so much.

FaustmanLabs.org has found a cure that no one seems to be excited over. They are going into Phase II test in early 2010. Check out their web site.

I have had diabetes since I was in the 6th grade, I am 23 now. That would be awesome if they could find a cure. The shots are the pits but I deal with it cause I have to. It's not the end of the world but its do able..I would love to help with any of the experiments

My son has had diabetes type 1 for 12 years. Recently he was diagnosed with mercury poisoning. The only place that could help him is a Health Center that does chelating therapy. My concern is that the doctor at the Center convinced my son that he can be cured by taking a vaccine available in Barcelona, Spain. My son agreed and the "vaccine" will arrive in 3 months. How is it possible that if such a vaccine exists nobody in the USA is talking about it? Especially the American Diabetes Association. My son won't listen to me and he truly believes what the Center is telling him. How do I handle this? Thanks.

Even the fact that this is an auto-immune disease is debateable amore. And if it is an auto-immune disease that means it can't be cured???? I hardly believe that to be true. I've seen too many people with MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, EBV, Graves Disease etc that have completely healed using a mostly or all raw diet. And There have been a few in the Raw community who INDEED did have Type 1 and they haven't had insulin in years. The fact is that everyone has their hands out trying to make a buck on people who have to take Insulin and there is no motivation but honesty (what is that anymore) to help people overcome this. Let's face it it is harder than most diseases - but so is cancer and guess what people are being cured of cancer. CHEMO doesn't cure cancer and yet that is the only thing the Medical Community offers and they poo poo anything else. Anyone truly looking for a cure will have to do so at their own expense and time - and read alot. We are a very greedy, selfish, hard hearted society of control freaks who control all the information and all the medicine and all the research and buy up good research to squash it so the money can keep rolling in. It's time for Americans to WAKE UP and stop following the band music to our death. Tell Obama and every other government NO to more control, NO to more regulations, NO to trying to stop Organic Growing and NO to my PERSONAL Choice as an America with (the last I knew) to the Freedoms still in the Constitution - unless have we chipped those away already too??? We are a Republic - with personal rights still - not a democracy where the biggest control groups control the masses and minds - well - the Media is still Democratic (very very controlled). I want America Back.
