Telling me a teenager needs energy drinks is like telling me the elderly need more maturity. Teens excel at bouncing off the walls with seemingly limitless energy, so why the massive market for energy drinks for teens? Its simple. its the same marketing themes as alcohol. Brands like Rockstar Monster or AMP clearly are labelled to appeal to kids that want to feel tough but are too young to legally guzzle beer. They proudly parade their overuse of these drinks, with their black and silver labels, electric bolt logo designs and metal cans akin to beer cans, in front of their peers. One blogspot website that rates drinks writes, "Large collection of energy drink ratings and reviews based on taste, price, and kick!" ...kick. Teens are looking for the kick that they aren't able to get from alcohol legally.

I will continue drinking sodas, energy drinks and sports drinks until the gov stops paying 6 million a year to poison the NYC water supply with flouride.
