I have no idea how much this could affect my health but it is really substistuting the normal one as i can smoke it freely without affecting anyone or feel shy about it. I would love to know exactly if possible from a real source what could be the sequences if I smoke this e-cig and is it worse than the normal smoking as I for sure would not be able to stop it easily.

Look up the ingredients online separate from this article and decide for yourself if this is harmful to your health. For smokers everywhere, I want to buy e-cigrettes for my own health safety. If cigarettes are checked by the FDA and find no health hazards in tobacco products, and allow their sale...then control the e-cigs as well and let us be who want to quit smoking but like the smoking (and I use no nicotine) experience.

What kid is going to go from smoking e-cigs with cherry or some other flavor to horrible tasting regular cigs that would choke a non smoker. They obviously never smoked a regular cig to make statements like that. There is slight merit to this but its really a far reach. Its ok to kill yourself with regular cigs that are known to do so but not kill yourself with something not even proven to do so. Its all about money and taxes sugar coated in supposed care for public health. Yes there should be some regulation especially in the consistency of the amount of nicotine delivered, nicotine is extremely poisonous and I do not believe e-cig should be sold to kids. Smoking is not the glamorous thing it was years ago and the only reason people smoke these is to help them not smoke real cigs. I have never heard of anyone taking on a new habit of smoking e-cigs and don't even think its realistic.

The people ney saying the e cig, are non smokers. They don't understand how amazing it is to have a (not so unhealthy) alternative. If a young person wants to smoke, they will smoke. You cant stop it. Stop thinking so small. Do you people not want smokers to be healthier? Stop ney saying this device and fix the problems.. smokers are people too. They are doctors, lawyers, stock brockers, construction workers, brothers, sisters, moms and dads too!

I have been smoking for 40 years, and would be very happy to use e-cigarettes if they are a more safe alternative. I would welcome the FDA to review the safety of e-cigarettes, and hope that an American company will produce e-cigarettes that are a better alternative to regular cigarettes.

Flavors that appeal to children (sweets, chocolate, bubble gum, etc.) should be banned. The product should be an alternative to addicts who have failed to quit by other means.

This is my thought on it....They need to inspect it more and find out wether or not this is a safe thing for people..I tried the E-Cig and it was alright but i believe there is a side effect that isnt good at all....i smoked 1 of the e-cigs for 4 days and then i started feeling like my throat and stomache was on burning wood fire....so i stopped using it..So thats why i think they need to inspect it alot more .Thanx

It seems that e-cigarettes are better than smoking real cigarettes. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe they could be considered a prescription drug and used for smoking cessation upon doctor prescription. From what I understand, they have some of the same things real cigarettes have and alot less of some of things real cigarettes have. No second-hand smoke for others, 600 less chemicals but the same satisfaction for those trying to quit. Not true? I haven't done extensive research on them. But this is what I have read so far. Maybe the real objection to them is that they could put the tobacco industry out of business. And, that would be bad for the economy.
