I'm surprised that an article like this would not mention the protective benefits of breastfeeding.

I'm surprised that an article like this would not mention the protective benefits of breastfeeding. A mother who breastfeeds lowers her risk significantly and the longer she breastfeeds, the lower the risk.

Not drinking milk, and eliminating ANY animal protein are two important factors as well.

If you want to defeat cancer kill the infectious agent responsible - the virus is the same one that causes psoriasis - inflammation dries out, hardens, (cyst) - it organ of choice, for its base colonization,is in the bile ducts of the liver that is responsible for he fat & plaque associated with cancer, heart attacks, Alzhimer's etc. It won't show up on any liver function test because it is attacking the bile (causes kidney/gall stones) - latest medial studies:

85% of all breast cancer patients show a 5 - 15 lbs. weight gain prior to diagnosis

21 year old man dies of meningitis like symptoms - they donate his organs/tissues - 4 of the people developed cancer

1 out of every two males, 1 out of every 3 women, will develop some form of cancer - not an infectious agent - YEA Right!!!!!!!!

Major increase in obseity

Major increase in adolescents who are coming down with kidney stones

Marked increase in adolescents needing liver transplants due to fat

Keep on sending money, keep believing the hype - it's all of bunch of b#$% S*(&!!!!

"drinking alcohol in moderation, if at all, was shown in a large study to help protect against this type of cancer in postmenopausal women, the researchers said."

Nonsensical double talk. Alcohol is one of the most correlated risk factors for this type of cancer. Obviously if you want to prevent this type of cancer you don't drink alcohol at all. We live in such a world of patsies and sugar-coated science.

When PC invades science it is a recipe for global confusion. Why do you think a recent poll of Europeans found that nearly all of them know wine is beneficial against heart disease and hardly any of them know it increases the risk of several types of cancer?

If people want to drink, that's their choice. I'm not arguing against that. I'm just sick of people not being given accurate information as to avoid offending them or out of some ill-conceived notion that we should lower expectations of healthful living compliance.
