Sunscreen Concerns Unfounded, Experts Say

you can find just as many sites that quote the problem with nano particles - zinc oxide as you do sites that report problems with vitamin a and oxybenzone. If you look closely you will see the people blasting blogs taking a stand on one side are actually SELLING a product that has the OTHER bad ingredient in it. They go on and on about big companies railroading the public and post lawsuits against those big companies as though the big companies are trying to cram deathly products down our throats. Why would big companies do that silly crap? It is not like the good sunscreens are in short supply so they have to fill their products with the bad stuff.

It is just like politics. Some people sell their stuff by telling you how bad someone elses stuff is. Consider the source and do your research...you will see the people screaming the most are behind a product they r selling as well...

Typical big-pharma-funded media lies. See EWG's site for the truth:

http://www.ewg.org/2010sunscreen/9-surprising-facts-about-sunscreen/

Here's one little interesting tidbit from EWG:

"Recently available data from an FDA study indicate that a form of vitamin A, retinyl palmitate, when applied to the skin in the presence of sunlight, may speed the development of skin tumors and lesions (NTP 2009)."

You dermatologists need to do some serious research to weed out the bogus studies which only lead you to kill people.
