I have been taking Tamoxifen for the past 2 1/2 years (after my removal of tumor and radiation treatments for DCIS). I recently underwent Major Surgery for a complete hysterectomy, due to a sudden onset of profuse bleeding and fiboids, thankfully no cancer. I wonder if the taxoxifen brought this on?

I took Arimidex for 5 years (from 1999 to 2004) following radiation treatment for a localized re-occurrence of breast cancer with no noticeable side effects other than a later-diagnosed pre-osteoporosis situation which began to reverse itself within a few years of ending the adjuvant treatment. My osteoporotic bone density has since improved even further and my risk of fractures is now less than national averages, according my latest DEXA-scans.
