Tanning Beds Can Greatly Boost Melanoma Risk

Really? I feel like we've known for awhile that tanning beds cause cancer, why does this seem so shocking now, it's old news to me!

Nothing is "remarkable" about these results, we have known your findings for nearly the amount of time tanning beds have existed.

John Overstreet is full of sh*t. The Tanning industry is the one with the "agenda", they will make up all kinds of BS and find opposing studies. The feeble minded (and vain) will believe them and pay for skin cancer.

I don't care. Let them get it. Let Darwinism work.

Unlike the others who commented negatively, I was unaware of the exact statistics found in this research. The others who commented must have a greater level of statistical understanding than the average reader. I use tanning beds and I was surprised to see the 4 fold increase in melanoma risk from using them. I'm also interested in the data on vitamin D benefits versus tanning bed risks. Good article.

I just wonder how many millions of dollars were spent on some government study that discovered the obvious. DUHH!

Whoever allocated the funding for this study should be fired. Can we please allocate money towards something we don't already know?!? This is like all of the studies that say a diet of fast food and no exercise lead to weight gain, heart disease, and diabetes.
