NOT THAT SHE KNOWS ANYTHING, BUT RATHER "WHO WILL HE LISTEN TO" IS HER MOTIVE! LISTEN ALL YOU MEN OUT THERE....... A GOOD WIFE, A GOOD LIFE! IF YOU HAVE A GOOD WIFE, LISTEN TO HER BECAUSE SHE LOVES YOU WANTS YOU TO STAY ALIVE AND BE HER COMPANION FOREVER. MOTHER JUST WANTS CONTROL. SAD, BUT TRUE. My husband had skin cancer on his face and it was removed and he's fine, but the dr. said to make sure to wear sun screen and sun glasses, especially to protect the area where he had the cancer because it can reoccur and not necessarily in the same spot. SLIP, SLAP, AND SLOP IT, EVEN YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

This does scare me because so many of our products from store shelves lack regulations and they can put misleading words on their products such as "natural" when maybe it is not? We know there are chemicals and whether there is proof in the damage it may or may not cause - why take the chance? I don't want my family to! We do use sunscreen because that is important but we love organic products that meet the USDA standards and I actually only use olive oil and honey on my skin for anti-aging along with taking my Vidazorb OPC age defense which is a probiotic. I just want to be careful and use what I can trust!

And guess where most skin cancer occurs?

Answer: The skin exposed to the least amount of sunlight."

"Melanomas can occur anywhere on the body, but are more likely to develop in certain locations. The trunk (chest and back) is the most common site in men. In women, the legs are the most common site. The neck and face are other common sites." American Cancer Society....

Those sound like high sun exposure spots to me. My dad was bald, and had a number of precancer spots removed from the top of his head. I am pale blond, and I have had three removed from my hair part area. So I am going with Australia's policy of protection. Slip Slap Slop

Slip on a shirt, slap on a hat and slop on some sunscreen. At 45, those women my age with great tans are starting to look alot like luggage. And not pretty luggage. Luggage that has been around the belt a few hundred times. Same goes for the men.

People scared of our life force needs to be more scared of slathering chemicals on all day for beauty purposes and avoiding plastic leaching in their food sources.

Good grief, this is actually becoming entertaining reading all these articles.

The sun give us vitamin D and if you know more , then you know that tey are all linked to eachother and work togethet to get the proper health. We do need the sun , it even helps depression. We can do excess of anything on this earth there is to have or use , directly or indirectly. So it is best to get sun but not to the point that we burn a good red or we use alot or even need alot of sunscreen. My bottem line is it's ur life live it the way you feel it to be the most happy . We are all going to die one day . Unless they are not telling us something . Then again I have lost loves to different types of reasons , so again I say You Make The Call!

"NO SUN=NO LIFE"

Yes. But don't forget "SUN=DEATH" in a lot of cases, including my uncle who never saw it coming. Also, don't forget: SUN=SKIN CANCER=NO SUN, like 3 people in their twenties that I know who have gotten skin cancer and basically have to avoid the sun as much as possible for the rest of their lives. 2 of these were people who wore sunscreen most of the time and didn't spend excessive amounts of time in the sun.

Sooo Brandon of AZ, I will say to you that these articles need to continue to be written until people get the point that a TAN is not worth skin cancer and the subsequent avoidance of the sun.. or DEATH.

It's a no-brainer. People are stupid and stubborn and until they stop ignoring the facts, it needs to be drilled into their heads.

Oh, and water kills too. Drowning. Ever heard of it? No one ever said that you should stay out of the sun forever, just be careful: wear your life vest.

I am getting tired of all these anti sun articles.

Use some common sense here. Why would you want to "hide" from one of the most important life forces on this planet? NO SUN = NO LIFE.

Don't go out in the Arizona sun for 8 hours when you are as pale as a white coat. Common Sense.

Time to start boycotting water!!!

NO, it is anything buy bad for you. To avoid any sort of chemical reactions, use a sunblock containing Titanium Dioxide and/or Zinc Oxide. These are the only physical (not chemical) active sunblocks. They protect you from a much wider span of damaging rays, do not penetrate the skin, and are from nature.
