The accounting process for tracking cancer deaths is creative to say the least. If you have cancer and make to a 5 year timer you have officially been cured, if you die the next day of cancer you are not counted as a cancer fatality.
We also know that as the baby boomer get older the number of those getting cancer will also increase.
Currently a little over 560,000 people loose their life to cancer each year in the USA alone. Over 7.3 million world wide.
Are we winning the battle with cancer? I think not.
