its crazy how more women have stds than men. its outrageous that most people with stds are young teens or young adults who dont know how to put a condom on.. just roll it on guys lmao

as a teen myself i know the struggles with sex and how guys can be easily pressured but some of these people comminting are right its about being responcible enough to use a condom. i use one everytime no matter what a girl says because i know im not ready for a kid and i deffinantly dnt want to ruin my life by getting a std from some girl that im not goin to spend the rest of my life with i dnt want to get one from any girl but i think you as parents should just let your kids know that u know they are doing it and tell them to use condoms and make sure they are ready to make that big a decision

Yes, in a perfect world, everyone would wait until they were in a loving, monogamous, relationship or marriage to have sex. If you haven't noticed, we do not or ever will live in this type of a world. Teens should have the information they need to protect themselves from pregnancy and STDs IF they choose to be in a sexual relationship. STDs can be passed along without sex, so even if they choose to abstain, they may be doing other activities. Check out the STD rates in those who have taken virginity pledges. They are still virgins, but not they have the clap. Hmmmm....

I'm shocked but I shouldn't be. Putting the purity thing aside, we are now reaping the "benefits" of telling our youth that it is ok to experiment sexually - oh, just use condoms. How sad it is that we, as parents, have to consider shots that prevent them from getting viruses because they might marry someone who did not wait.
When are we going to wake up and figure out that this goes much further than sex. What about responcibility to authority and taking care of our bodies the way it was, actually God intended? "Oh, kids are going to do that anyway" is just a excuse to not confront our parental and adult duties to teach our youth.
May God help us as we strive to influence the next generation that maybe waiting until marriage is the best option, and it is an option, and also leading a life that shows them as such.

Here's an idea, how about not having sex until you are ready to have a monogamous relationship within the confines of marriage. Sure, you can call me archaic or outdated, but it is the best way and is what God intended for us from the beginning of time.

Considering the fact that more than 20 have died directly from this vaccine, 100s have had paralisis and devastating side effects, and that it was never tested on adolescents, but rather adults, makes this vaccine more than risky. Given that the BEST form of cervical cancer detection is an annual pap smear, the recommendation of this article in favor of routine vaccination in girls is highly irresponsible and mediocre journalism.
