Saliva May Help Spot Oral Cancer Early

Advances in technology are always welcome. Along with the marketing and hype they raise awareness.

What happens when the saliva test say's the patient is "positive" for oral cancer? How do you find it? Yep...you have to look with your eyes.

You still have to learn to look for the cancerous lesions, right? The truth is, you can use a "non-invasive" oral brush biopsy to rule out the presence of pre-cancerous and cancerous cells...today.

We all should keep pushing forward. But we can help end this terrible disease today if we stop looking for cancer and start looking for "visible" signs of dysplasia (white and red spots or color variations in the mouth), test it, and remove it if potentially harmful cells are found.

It isn't rocket science...oh...actually...yes it is.
