A good treatment for arthritis is to take one gram of glucosamine sulfate per day. It will take about six weeks before you feel the benefit of a reduction in pain but once the pain is gone one tablet per day is usually enough to stabilise your arthritis. It is important to buy the glucosamine sulfate made from shellfish. Glucosamine sulfate made from other materials, such as bones, do not work.
