Thank you for this information. It is good to hear that work is being done that might someday help my now 8yr old. She had MDS in 8-08, had a BMT (9-08) and seemed very well for 11 months and then AML was found during her one yr follow-up in 8-09. Now with a second BMT (11-09) behind her the MDs have said that should any cancer invade her body again there is NOTHING they can do to help her. Our hope is that should she relapse there will have been enough research done that she still might be saved.
