Men will soon be able to get tested for HPV. There are studies for HPV in men taking place in Tampa. As soon as the tests are approved by the FDA, men will be able to go to their doctor and get tested. It is also being proved that Gardasil (the HPV vaccine) is just as likely to prevent HPV in men, as it is in women.

For most women they have no idea they have HPV. This is due to many factors, such as not getting your yearly pap smear. It can go untreated and unrecognized until it is too late. As for getting men tested first ~ that is a great idea, yet it will do no good if they are not willing to get tested.
