One way or another you need to keep yourself in the best possible shape because of the rotten system in place. There is so much i could see improving but it comes down to the bottom line im told. Does wall street really need more Breitlings? check me out at http://www.vitaminalmanac.com

I'm in my mid 20's, 3 years out of remission from Hodgkins Lymphoma. This Dec I'm loosing my insurance, getting kicked off my parents. I am facing never being able to get insured, or at least going the next few years with it out it until I land a miraculous job that pays me enough money to afford it in this horrible economy we live in. My work will not give me benefits and keeps me at the minimum. I've been denied and told to my face by Insurance companies "we won't cover you" because I am a "high risk patient". Private companies rates are something I will never be able to afford, taking away 90% of the money I do make.

Why is it that those that smoke/do drugs can be insured, but those that survived cancer and lead healthy lived can be denied??

I am so scared of falling out of remission and not being able to get medical coverage. It's not fair, it's not right.

Health insurance is suppose to keep people healthy....but why deny people who need it the most to keep them alive?
