Very interesting article.

I have had Relapsing remitting MS for several years and I have taken an avonex injection weekly since the late 90's. This seems to be keeping me stable physicaly but other problems do exist. Memory and other cognitive problems seem to be getting worse. Yoga does help my balance problems though and I regularly do physical training.

Maintaining a positive attitude and outlook helps a great deal.

This is very interesting and as an MS sufferer myself makes absolute perfect sense. While i have daily Copaxone injections and it does indeed help with the amount of relapses i have and the severity of them i have found that certainly it does only help with the physical symptoms. The cognative aspects ie, poor memory, not being able to find the correct words, spelling, working out money indeed none of this helped at all in my case by the medication i take. I actually have similar cognative problems as my own nana who is 76, and have said to her in the past when discussing my illness how i actually feel as though my brain is actually much older than my years of 39.I get very frustrated, a trait i know to be common in elderly people. Once again i find this article to be very interesting.
