Alzheimers is but one form of dementia.

Dementia after anesthesia (DAA) is the worst possible bad outcome from anesthesia over medication.

When given for surgery, anesthesia without a brain monitor is a 99.9% guarantee of being over medicated.

The risks of the nefarious practice of routine anesthesia over medication include dementia after anesthesia (DAA), delirium & one death every day, especially for those of us 'baby boomers' over 50.

No anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist would dare to give you a blood pressure medication without measuring your blood pressure.

Why, in the 21st century, would they think it is still acceptable to give anesthesia to your brain without directly measuring it with technology that has been FDA approved & validated for the past 14 years?

75% of US hospitals have brain monitors but only used 25% of the time.

Lack of routine direct brain monitoring for surgical anesthesia is an outrageous and absolutely unacceptable practice.

'Goldilocks anesthesia' is driven by your individual response to anesthesia. It cannot be too much, or too little but just the right amount.

Never go under anesthesia for surgery without a brain monitor.

The 'request' to have a brain monitor used is non-negotiable.

Do not wait to make this 'request' until you are lying on a gurney waiting to go down the hall to surgery.
