I have late stage Lyme. This is really interesting because each time I had a spinal tape they recorded protein but no reason was given. Is there hope at last???

SHE TOLD ME CFS IS NOT AN ORGANIC ILLNESS.

ALSO CHANGE THE NAME ONCE IN FOR ALL!

I developed ME-CFS after a Hep B vaccine. Can you believe that?

I think that this is encouraging data. I don’t recall any other studies that have reported such a dramatic difference in the protein content of CFS patients and healthy controls, and nor do I recall any recent CFS studies that have analyzed cerebral spinal fluid. This study certainly will not result in any dramatic overnight changes but it does add to the growing body of knowledge that will ultimately help CFS patients further down the track.

Having chronic tick borne diseases can cause CFS. My severe fatigue was alleviated by being treated for the so called self-limiting disease babesiosis. Thank you to Dr. Shutzer for continuing your research on Lyme Disease. At least he believes we are actually sick and need medical treatment...not psychological counseling and exercise...

Yet another study to add to the 4000 or so already published showing biological abnormalities in people with CFS. But will that change anything? I hope so but history suggests otherwise.
