I think there could be less if the justice system would snap down on the kids the first time caught. I have a son that was introduced to it by a friend. This kids mom didn't care what they did as long as she wasn't home. I am apoled at the justice systom and the help my son didn't get and now he is hooked on cigarets that has never been in my home and he does things to see what he can get away with. I am sick of hearing how he is just a rebelous teen. The courts failed my son and the school systom even more so.

If people are going to use any intoxicant, they couldn't pick a safer one than marijuana. Marijuana users also have lower rates of many types of cancer. It is certainly safer than tobacco or alcohol.
Legalization with warning covered packages (pictures of dead celebrities, lethal dosages, etc.) and no promotions or advertizing would decrease usage over a friend with a baggie going, "try this."
The war on drugs paradoxically promotes usage and funds terrorist and criminal elements!

Marijuana is medicine. Anyone who says other wise is ignoring years and decades and centuries of evidence. That's just blatant bias.
The fact is that this is a win for everyone.
Marijuana is not a gateway drug, that's been disproven and was bunk to begin with.
More kids are trying pot because they do their research and see through the lies like this that R. Gil Kerlikowske offers. Drinking and Cigarettes are the biggest risk to kids.
Can you blame kids for indulging in a safer alternative than you would offer them?
People and kids are going to get high no matter what you do or want.
Damage reduction is what matters.
Would you prefer these kids huff gasoline or model paint?
Listen to science and common sense.
Stop pandering to BS emotional triggers with thin undefendable lies.
Parents should be responsible for teaching their kids good habits anyway. No one should get their morals from the media.

Personally after years of privately researching Gulf war Syndrome and the so called undiagnosable illnesses of , I have come across some very shocking understanding. Many of the cases have the tell signs of EMF radiation over exposures or the natural sensitivity to simple every day radio wave or micro waves of cell phone and RAdios. Some of the neuropsychological systems act just like adhd. It boils down to simple environmental sensory over load or sensitivity to. Our brain and senses are meant to work to be on guard as so the risk of form of what PTSD or shock syndrome as I like to call it is would more likely be as such in our Youth.
I think the rise in marijuana May be from Such As well in our youth
Personally I feel after reviewing research on Autism I feel some of the cases to adhd are this over load EMF on young. Sedatives as like marijuana A lot of drug use come from such sensory over load, our brains from Birth to the breast milk of our mother has natural opium. You do the math person I think there is an over demonizing of the use of marijuana is more of a problem then the drug! Reminder many of the man made drugs are made from the study of the natural one’s with far less side effects for the trail Lawyers to fight over ….
Another’s out there agree

Eliminate the drinking age and you will observe a reduction in drug use. In Massachusetts, you face greater penalties for drinking a beer than possessing a joint. Its the abuse of either that is the real problem, and prohibition for sub-21 people creates the problem.
