Nice article and post.

Care givers mental health to be tested first before taking up their role as "care givers'. Its very difficult to hand a person with Alzheimers'. A little bit of awareness and education is required. The expectation from the doctor on the progress of disease has to spelt out in the details, especially what is working well, and signs of improvement.

As founder of the Alzheimer's Reading Room, I want to thank Maria Shriver for what she is doing. Her efforts are admirable.

Speaking for thousands of Alzheimer's disease caregivers all over the world, I can assure you they are grateful.

I would encourage all Alzheimer's caregiver to obtain and read the report. I would also encourage everyone to watch Maria on This Week with Christiane Amanpour on Sunday.
