I know that mothers who breastfeed are suppose to use a Vitamin D supplement. Should there be a correlation between breastfeed mothers who dont use supplements and babies who take formula?

Dr. Cannell should be proud of his Vitamin D Theory of Autism - this one theory, proven true, could spare countless generations of the sadness many are experiencing now.

Chris - yes, vitamin D IS that important...but it is not the only thing. Magnesium is equal in its scope and its benefit...and without the magnesium, your body would not be able to utilize the vitamin D properly - or any other nutrient for that matter.

Magnesium IS life...

magnesium and vitamin D together - doesn't get any better than that.

This is more proof that autism is the result of chronic vitamin D deficiency in both pregnant mother and newborns.

Higher incidence of those babies born in the "dark months".

You mean when vitamin D levels are lowest?

The Vitamin D Theory of Autism is the ONLY one that has predicted every new research finding about this catastrophe.

If you ignore your vitamin D health you risk higher rates of every early onset chronic disease. That includes all the big killers and practically every other affliction you can name.

Here is the Vitamin D Theory of Autism:

"Vitamin D" is no such thing, but actually the human body's most potent steroid hormone.

Vitamin D experts recommend a circulating level of 50-80 ng/ml (125-200 nmol/L), 25 OH D, year round and for life.

Autism is but a tiny, tiny part of the misery caused by vitamin D deficiency, by far the most pressing health crisis on any continent.

Read and educate yourself about vitamin D deficiency and its impact on human health.

NOTHING matters more than vitamin D health!

There is very likely a link between the vitamin D levels of the mother and baby, which is strongly indicated by the months the jaundiced babies were born, the same months vitamin D levels are at their lowest. Check out the vitamin D council's web site on autism.
