I got excited reading your letter

There was a study done recently about women who couldn't orgasm to see if they could find the magic Viagra. Out of the ones that were given a placebo 50% of them perceived improvement in their love lives. It's no big mystery here that women aren't allowed to enjoy sex. Once they were given permission to enjoy it--the pills made them do it-- they were able to be pleasured. As a woman who has multiple orgasms during intercourse, about a 3-to-1 ratio, I think I have an idea about what may be happening there. I had a Catholic girlfriend who approached me about this back in the 80's. Sure, maybe she had some physical reason that she couldn't reach the big O, but more likely it was because of society. I have social pressures too, but never let upbringing dictate what I can enjoy.

As far as physical pain goes, there may be other reasons for it aside from physical. Many women are sexually abuse and physically assaulted, even in childhood. Those who can't deal with it may block it out.

As far as enjoyment over 50 in a long term relationship, these poor women were taught not to speak up about it, that's why they don't have good sex with their mates. An illicit affair allows them to be naughty. My husband of 21 yrs. says that he "gets off watching me get off" and he spends a lot of time taking care of me. What a guy! I am truly blessed!!!
