I know some lesbian parents who are very committed. Not only to their children, but their community. However, this study hand picks committed lesbian parents and compares them to randomly picked traditional parents. These are skewed results.

Children who are raised in non traditional households tend to not only accept other children more readily, but to understand the traumas that other kids face. These kids have fewer biases - and are fed less hatred at home, making them less of a problem in the classroom.
As a teacher, I have seen the interactions of these kids with other students, other adults, and even their parents, and I can say that they just have a better sense of who they are because their parents actually speak to them, take the time to explain life's difficulties, and make an effort to help their children fit in. So why wouldn't they be products of good parenting in exactly the same way that kids in a heterosexual household would given the same opportunities?

To answer your question of why some so called Christians hate is simple. THEY ARE HOMOSEXUAL themselves and hate the fact that they are. Example: St Paul.
was always prating to the lord to cure him of his affliction. That being he was a homosexual.

I was born and raised in Az... Karl is a perfect example of the continued foolishness coming out of that state. Glad to be away from the idiocy, raising my children in MI focused on kindness and tolerance with my partner.
I'd rather live with queers and immigrants than with racists...

the critics of same sex parents are not as interested in facts as they are in inciting already existing prejudices. So this fact will make little difference to them. For those interested in an honest discussion and open to learn something 9in stead of assuming they already know the "truth"), this will be valuable.....

Are you out of your mind? American society is at the worst it's ever been, socially. Girls are treated like street whores and guy's haven't the slightest clue how to begin to be a man, because they have been raised in single parent familes with no positive male role-model. People are rude as pigs, thanks to the likes of Jerry Springer and Rosie O'Donnell... Lesbian women may raise a child that "act's docile" but the chickens WILL come home to roost, sooner or later.
