My bright beautiful daughter very recently died. She had been declared brain dead. She underwent a multitude of testing, both neurological and other. I looked in her eyes myself - her pupils were blown and she stared with eyes unmoving and unseeing. She was no longer there. It broke my heart and will for the rest of my life. Anyone who says "there's no such thing as brain dead", may be brain dead themselves.
