France captain Patrice Evra claims that coach Raymond Domenech dropped him from the squad for "no valid reason'' and denied him the chance to apologise to the French public by reading out the players' statement himself.
Why is no work being done to find a cure for this adolescent preoccupation with sex? This drug is nothing but a solution searching for a problem. Can't find a problem? Make one up, and the more stylish the better.

"Lack of Libido in Ladies is Normal"? What century are you living in? There is a whole spectrum of desire in women. Unfortunately women's libidos tend to take a backseat to the small creatures known as children. That's not the same thing as a defective sex drive.
Women don't need drugs - they need healthy food, sleep, exercise, and (if necessary) a babysitter to watch the kids. I'm not into aphrodisiacs, but in my own personal experience, I have a higher probability of achieving orgasm the morning after eating a meal that includes artichokes and after a good night's sleep.

Why is low sexual desire considered a dysfunction in women? Gay men and lesbians have long known that this is quite common in the majority of women. Lesbian Bed Death is a phrase used to describe when two women have what most women seem to desire; a monogamous relationship - emotionally supportive, shared living responibilities and no sexual demands.
The fact that after millions of years, most men & women (straight) don't just accept this basic fact shows how most straight sexual attitudes are based upon wants rather than facts. Straight men want straight women to have the same amount of sex drive that they themselves have; and will resort to drugs to get it. Gay men and lesbians don't have to cross that divide. So look at the behaviors; gay men have sex more frequently than lesbians.
Boys and girls are different. Its no wonder straight men and women don't understand same sex relationships; they don't even understand heterosexual relationships.

There will no doubt be women who take the new drug who do NOT need it,
but like Scott Peterson (the guy who disposed of his wife and unborn child a few years back) took Viagra -- not because it was medically necessary --
but because he thought it would increase his sexual endurance (or something like that). Apparently this misuse is still going on.

I wonder how much was spent on researching this drug? It is true that it will be over-prescribed, over-used and, when it does come on the market, will represent a serious danger to women who are given it against their knowledge or will.
Of course, the women willing to take it will, after a while on this artificial thing, no longer be able to feel any desire unless it is artificially induced and the concept of control of one's own emotional responses will be considered impossible -- just like depression is now considered uncontrollable without medication.
Seems like every normal human response is being carefully categorized and a drug is being created so that our populations will be able to medicate to create the "appropriate" response. Eventually, we will be able to take our once-nightly soma.

Gosh, I guess I have yet another mental disorder. I have to say that I never been that much interested in sex, and now single, busy, happy, and at 52, I gotta admit that given the choice between having sex and going on a ten mile hike, I would take the latter without hesitation. I'm single, but I'm one of those folks who think a guy ought to get permission from his wife before getting Viagra. (To be fair, I think a wife ought to get permission from her husband before getting an abortion for anything other than health reasons.)

Not interested in sex a mental disorder?
Its seems to me that this pseudo science keeps going around in circles with itself.
In 1964 psychiatrists tried to link the lack of interest in sex with lableing female frigidity as a sexual disorder. They treated this with a combination of LSD and Ritalin.`
on the right bottom of page 44 of the document: 14 of the 70 female mice (20%) got Lymphoma Malignant Mixed after 2 years ritalin.
Page 70 at the bottom, right : 15 of the 70 male mice (21%) got got Hepatocellular Carcinoma, (deadly liver cancer) after 2 years of ritalin use.
This reseach was done in 1995 by the American government (by the national toxicology programe) , but was hidden away from the public by the manufacturer.
At this moment is European Union is investigating hinges that Ritalin can cause Leukemia because they received 2 studies that strongly indicate this.
So: Not in the Mood? You Could Have Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder?
No its just another ploy to seel you pills that are possiblt harmfull.
