Why aren't these devices included in the DSM-V?

Re: Radiation from medical tests. I personally have had so many CT scans and some xrays just since 2002 and many before. A few were necessary, but large majority were not. I am now elderly and hopefully if I get sick with radiation caused illness, I am old enough.
Big problem not mentioned: I really believe many doctors do not have much of a clue as to any possible damage from scans etc...I also have talked to
Radiologists that perhaps 4 have given me total different answers. There you go....DOCTORS & RADIOLOGISTS DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE.
It is NOT all money greed. Doctors can also get lazy with an exam and just find it easier to order a scan that gives them information in reports. I have gone and said "I have a pain here" and they order a scan..thats end of visit.
NOW..as an elder, I have learned how to say NO and WHY..just a little late.
Has to be some good way for FDA to get info to general public .
Re: update for mental health:Start with a few POLITICIANS mental trouble.
Anything that you do so much that it is interferring with your life, job, money, family, children, friends etc..is an addiction and when ready to stop it, hopefully help is available like a 12 step program. When a person does something that "feels good" or fun at the beginning, usually they may keep doing it that becomes "Addiction" or compulsive and then the "fun and feel good" is gone and just becomes a necessary thing one HAS TO DO.
AND medicating/diagnosing small children is horrible and these doctors/physch.
should be thrown out. Reading of a 4 yr old with siblings...and all being medicated heavily for "bipolar illness & AdHd", with 4 yr dying. Insane to treat children and especially when only relying on what a parent says.
I know too many people/friends that are in mental health counseling and they can more than use it themselves!
