Zelda, my Flat Coated Retriever mix, knows how to open pop top cans of cat food. I found this out when I left some bags of canned food on the floor in the kitchen. And that includes going through the plastic that holds four cans together. I've come home and found the place littered with empty cat food cans when I've forgotten to put the cans away. When I told my vet about this a couple weeks ago, she said she'd never heard of another dog doing this. I've learned I have to put the cans right in the pet food drawer.
