My mother has Alzheimer's and her only activities are watching tv and playing bingo with her home aid. She lives in Florida and I live in NY. I want her to be involved in social activities at a Senior Center, or have her live in an assisted living facility where there are other people and social activities. However, my mother says she prefers to be in her own home and bed. My sister, who lives in Florida says that this is what mom wants and any time I try to change my mother's circumstances, my sister says that I am trying to manipulate my mother.

Any suggestions or comments?
