My friend has come to visit in Spain, she is on Metformin, now has big mosquito bites, very inflamed and swollen. wonder if the 2 things are related. I too have been bitten, but they are not large, just irritating. when she was here last Oct, it didnt happen, but she is on new medication.

"How much research did January do?"
Well, enough to let us know 4 ingredients to battle mosquitos which may be helpful to readers. Jack, you offered zero (0).
Another I've recently read but haven't yet tried is to mist original amber Listerine mouthwash onto your exposed skin. Less expensive per ounce & you don't have to smell like pesticide while trying to enjoy a sunset or sunrise outside.

Do all the new repellents mentioned above have to be washed off the skin soon like DEET does?
How long can each of them safely remain on the skin?
