(HealthDay News) -- You may sacrifice comfort for fashionable shoes, but you could be damaging your feet.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons says the following problems can result from wearing shoes that are too snug:

  • Hammertoes.
  • Bunions.
  • Calluses.
  • Corns.
