After reading about younger folk and osteoarthritis, I feel fortunate to be 83 and just recently had bone density test which proved to be osteopenia. I love milk and have a lot of it even yet. My family was raised with milk being the main drink to take for thirst.
I have fallen 2 or 3 times, but never had a broken bone. Milk helps me to relax at bedtime and helps me sleep. I also take vitamins and calcium, maybe not enough at my age. Any suggestions?

I have just been prescribed fasomax, a low dose of 35mg. How does a doctor decide between boniva or fasomax? I have also heard that after taking these pills for one year, the disease can reverse itself, true???
