Donna of IL, It is even more imprtant with COPD for you to exercise so your CO2 does not build up. But you exercise will have to be less stimulating. I know PBS has a show called Sit and Strech. Your Pulmnologist should be able to guide you

Ms Donna

I have had issues in the past with depression after I hired a PI to catch my Ex wife cheating. I was 250lbs and not a happy person..Now 5 years later I am in the best shape ever. I walk every night and have lost over 50lbs. try it ! My neighbors have started walking after seeing me do it. God Bless !!! Rob

I have COPD, lung problems. I have not been very good at exercising and I know that, that should be tops on my list. Also loss of sexual desire and appetite as well. Any thoughts for me? I know the exercise is tops on the list, but I just ignore it.

Can you have an event in the chicago land area to challenge depression. I recently lost my mom and want to do something to help this cause and can't find anything in my area.

I have reviewed some, but not all of the literature on this connection...and it appears that a double blind cross-over design to test this hypothesis has not yet been reported.

If someone has conducted such a study, please send me the reference(s) so I can become enlightened. I do however, intuitively belief that there is such a connection...but the scientific proof of "cause and effect" has not yet been established. I would like to be wrong. It's a bit like trying to prove the "protective effect" of stretching before running a race or hard workout.
