This article was great! Very well written! I've heard of a product called Zyflamend and was told to order it from http://www.mynaturalmarket.com/New-Chapter-Zyflamend-180.html does anyone know more about this?

“What is your CRP?” C-reactive protein may be a better indicator of heart attack than cholestrol. Purified Omega 7 has been clinically shown to reduce CRP — up to 75% in one month. Take the CRP Challenge!

Hello. Thank you for this very helpful and illuminating article.

I've had chronic inflammation for at least 30 years. I was

also a runner those years, which makes me wonder if that

exercise was enough to keep the adrenalin at a reasonable level. This condition plays havoc with my life, in that I

often have to cancel social engagements when the CI gets

out of hand due to infection or...God knows.

Again, thank you for the thoroughness, and suggestions for

reducing inflammation. What part do you think allergies

play in this condition? Or is it a result of this condition?

Thank you,

Beth Haas

I think it is called an oxymoron when an article about type 2 DM & Heart disease, lifestyle diseases caused by inflammation, caused in part by eating too much sugar hosts and advertisement for an ice cream company.

Thanks for nothing all you people who instead of adding to the discussion on inflammation use this as a chance to peddle your worthless drinks and overpriced chocolate.

I would like to share this amazing information for anyone who wants optimum health. It’s about the most powerful antioxidant that exists. It has really helped out my parents a lot and me with better energy throughout the day and better deep sleep.

obviously a well-meaning article with some good information. The weak points though are the gap of knowledge about the list of inflammatory markers and the anti inflammatory natural substances and antioxidants. Omega 3 LONG CHAIN! as in fish or quality supplements out perform stains and without side effects. This inconvenient well documented fact is ignored and suppressed while statins are aggressively promoted now for more and more condition but not with credible evidence. I try to honour

Deborah Kotzs' good intentions and think she deserve that I share some of my knowledge by pointing her towards the following 2 sources worth checking out:

a book The Anti Inflammation Zone by Dr.Barry Sears and the website:

thecholesterollie.com.

We all know we need to eat better and most of us are trying to make healthier choices. I have found a product that meets many of the criteria in this article that is a very easy healthy choice. Xocai healthy chocolate is high in Omega 3 (the Acai Berry is the second ingredient in this chocolate and is high in omega 3's). And three servings of their Omega 3 Squares gives you 90 per cent of plant based omega 3 for the day. Chocolate has proven to be the superior delivery system for probiotics as the chocolate coats the probiotics so they survive three times longer than in dairy, so they are able to survive the acid in the stomach to reach the large intestine where they are needed. Xocai's XoBiotic delivers 1 billion microorganisms. As the cocoa beans are cold-pressed, just three servings deliver 10 servings of raw fruits and vegetables. Xocai uses no processed sugars, no bad fats, fillers nor caffeine.

The Xe-Energy drink being launched in December will be a high antioxidant energy drink with no caffeine. Among the proprietary blend of natural energy boosters are: ginsing, maca, quercetin and theobromine. A full description and ingredients are at: www.xe-energydrink.com. The other Xocai products can be found at www.cocoa101.com.
