Parental Alienation: A Mental Diagnosis?

PAS was "invented" by pro-pedophile Dr. Richard Gardner that killed himself by repeatedly stabbing himself in the heart...what a genius!

When are people going to wake up that this pseudo scientific theory is dangerous for children that ARE abused by one parent! PAS is a dangerous tool that is used by abusive men to gain control over their formerly abused partners, wives, girlfriends. Then every child that is frightened to go with her/his parent has been alienated by the other parent? Then ALL abuse is fake too and any reasonable person would AGREE that abuse DOES happen within families, and statistics prove over and over again, it's Dad more than Mom.

It is reckless for our mental health providers to give any credence to any of this due to the fact that every case is different and many children are being placed in the hands of abusers, being abused sexually, physically and even killed thanks to PAS!

The child in this article who thinks Dad is good now and mom is bad is a real rarity. There are many kids who try to get away from abusers only to be sent back to them. Guess what? The abuser really does hit the kid and really does hit the mom, but THEY LIE ABOUT IT. So hiring some crackpot psychologist to claim that the child or mother has a mental illness is seriously unethical and IT IS CHILD ABUSE. Amy Baker, Richard Gardner, and the rest of their PAS cult are advocating for the intentional cover up of child abuse. Check out Stop Family Violence, The Leadership Council, The Liz Library and many other blogs for women and children FALSELY ACCUSED of this fictitious disorder. Any publishing of this garbage theory attempting to claim this is a legitimate mental illness should be looked upon as willful cover up of child abuse.

PAS hurts those who have been in relationships with abusive men - both the women and chidlren. One need only do a search for battered mom/child custody to see this is the case. What do we do about all of the recent (last year) familicides committed by men? What about all the babies who will no longer have a normal life due to shaken baby syndrome? Most men (I say most not all because not all men are bad fathers) who preach for joint custody do so for two main reasons. One is to continue the reign of control over their victims, and the second is to lower any court madated child support payments, which in effect does the same thing as number one.

We must NOT allow this to happen. We must learn to listen to the victims. Otherwise we will continue to have chidlren killed, women killed by these angry men. Men who are truly the ones with psychological issues. You see it is all about them. Narcissism anyone?
