Health Buzz: New Federal Policy on Medical Marijuana and Other Health News

With 26 MILLION Americans using cannabis in the last year, and only 3 million (already occupied) prison beds in the country, the question is not why? The question is why so long?!

Alcohol KILLS 75,000 Americans/year, and addicts 15% of those who use.

Cigarettes KILL 450,000 Americans/year, and addict 30% of those who use.

Cannabis kills ZERO Americans/year, and can cause dependence in 10% of heavy users. A dependence that is weaker, and much easier to overcome than the physical addiction of alcohol or nicotine.

The VAST majority of Cannabis Aficionados are hard-working, tax-paying, home-owning,. child-rearing American CITIZENS, who simply want to relax with a different substance than alcohol or nicotine. We don't want to smoke and drive, or go to work, we don't want kids to have it (and those who do anything of these things should be punished!). We just want PARITY with other substances that are demonstrably MORE DANGEROUS than cannabis!
