I have been diagnosed with pancreatitis. I am a lifetime smoker. It hurts REALLY bad. I was hospitalized for three days while they diagnosed it. My triglyceride levels were very low @ 300 (normal is 150), so I was lucky, but some people's are as high as 1,000 to 9,000. If you are having stomach pain, and you are a smoker, your pancreas is likely MESSED UP and you are you need to STOP SMOKING ASAP
