People that want fresh real food need to have it available to them and not be told what they can consume by by the fda who oks foods that have been poisioning diseasing and cancering us for years. It needs to be our choice not the $Government$ choice.People have to drive out of state because they dont want to drink unhealthy pasturized disease causing milk.It needs to be a crime to sell food that has ingreadients known to cause disease that the fda lets happen in common foods. not a farmer that wants to sell it to someone who knows therye drinking raw milk

mastitius and the cow stepping into the milk bucket was the vast cause of illness from drinking raw dairy, hence ecoli from stepping in the bucket; cow dung on hoof, duh! undulent fever; caused by utter infection, "mastitius" aka pus in the milk, and liver&heart fluke from the cow drinking water from the streams; that has eggs so small that get into the blood stream and filterd out by the liver; then hatch and eat the heart and liver of the host cow; and all can be transfered to man. Also a farmer that had these things happening quite alot could still sell the milk to pasturizeing companys thereby not losing money by discarding the milk. But no matter theirs nothing like making your own butter, and drinking rich milk, and killer home made ice cream, damn! It is cheaper to buy from the farmer than from the pasturizer.

Many blame raw milk for causing diseases & illnesses. The finger shouldn't be pointed at the milk, but at the cow. The cows diet & living condition can really determine the salutary in raw milk. My suppliers invite me to visit there farm in Fresno, CA. There is health benefits of drinking raw milk, it contains enzymes that conventional milk does not have due to pasteurization, it contains "good bacteria", vitamins, minerals, CLA's, & EFA's.

I suffer from an intolerence to pasturized milk, this intolerance came about suddenly after a trip to Asia, where I accidentaly consumed bad water. I used to suffer from severe intestinal distress when I consumed even minor amounts of milk or milk products, following my trip. Such small amounts as could be found in breaded meat products and casseroles. It was tough going on picnics with friends, I had to interview people before I tried their dishes as to what ingredients they had used. Now with raw milk regularly a part of my diet, I can now once again digest pasturized milk and pasturized milk products. I can even enjoy an ice cream cone with no ill effects. My only remaining sensitivity is to yougurt. Raw milk has saved my sense of well being. As I could often be suprised by where milk, whey and other milk products would appear; and would pay for my consumption of it with embarassing intestinal issues. Now with raw milk in my diet, life is much simpler and tastier. I can again enjoy an ice cream cone. Before I had raw milk in my diet, I had to order soda when the family went out for ice cream. Please don't take raw milk away from those of us who need it. Thank you - Sincerly, Martha Michalek

Ummm dangerous choice? I order 3 and a half gallons of it when I go to the farm every two weeks and me and my family drink it. I drink that stuff EVERY DAY for the past 2 years. I've never gotten sick on it. Maybe if you have a bunch of dirty morons running the farm that don't wash or keep things clean, but that same principle runs strong for any person trying to sell any kind of food. Someone shakes the hand of another person that sneezes and then handles food and boom...someone gets sick. But, my farmers are very hygenic and there's never been a problem...EVER. In fact, I feel better than Wilford Brimley after he's had his oatmeal!

""a dangerous choice.""

"Boor grew up on a dairy farm, drank raw milk as a child, and is willing to grant it some of the credit for her robust health"

"Although my family is still in the dairy business, there is not a single person who still drinks"

A dangerous choice that results in robust health? Back in the old days all that they drank was raw milk, why didn't they all die? Why can't I purchase raw milk for baking? Can't you just sell it with a skull and cross bones on the package?
