don't organize the work place; don't vote for change; accept the world as it is and accept your place in it; what nonsense!

I've been teaching Jon K-Z's helpful application of Mindfulness meditation for a number of years to the general public, to groups of healthcare professionals and to those who are recovering from illness. This practice supports and teaches so much of what is needed today. It is a prcoess of slowing down and becoming aware and conscious. The practice teaches expansion, by releasing habits and condistioned responses. One learns to release fearful contractions of mind and body. One learns to be present to what is, and that is, constant change. patriciabright.wordpress.com

I have been teaching 8 week mindfulness courses based on Kabat-Zinn's book Full Catastrophe Living and all my participants have found it helpful. I worked with people who have MS to those suffering from depression. They all talk about how it make them feel calmer and better able to cope with 'the full catastrophe' in all the forms it takes in our daily lives.

I teach in London, UK. See www.LearnMindfulness.co.uk/videos for more videos from Kabat-Zinn and others.
