I found your article very interesting and it confirmed something I've always suspected: My mother-in-law has always been a nasty, negative witch...her age (72) has nothing to do with it. Thanks!

I am 66 years old and just returned from a week long volunteer construction project at a church near Cordoba, Mexico where we added a roof to a partially built sanctuary. I was the oldest of the 15 volunteers, aged from late 20's through mid-60's. I am in excellent health, I walk a minimum of 45 minutes 3 days a week, and keep my weight down in the healthy BMI range. I was able to do things some of the younger men were not able to do since they were overweight or had other health-related issues due to their sedentary desk-job professions. In one instance I was asked to go up into a roof over-hang where I was one of the few men on the team who could squeeze into the small area. One of the men, in his middle 50's, asked if I could be one of his "Health Mentors" which was very heartening to me and I accepted. There were things which I obvoiusly was not able to do, since I am only 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh about 150 pounds, and left to the men in their 20's to 40's to do, but I was a fully functioning member of the construction team. My age wasn't an issue to the men 20 years my junior, it was my construction/remodeling skills that counted.

...you may not agree with me or have estatiscs on your side...I got the evidence on my side...in ways that would take to long to explain, I (71,yrs old) find my self living with this nice, beautiful, inteligent, humorus and energetic 28 yrs old. she makes me feel young, dress young, wall young and most of all, she makes me feel like I am in control of the lord Chronos, then, since I got all the desire to live, I begin to see all the blank, blank foods that the sistem shovel down our throats, and some of us don´t have a choice. Or we think we don´t. If you got some money, there will be those "relatives" very relatively leting you know that it is dangerous to drive, to make plans, to travel, to dream, to start all over again, you might no go to heaven, the bible says over 70, you are as good as dead. To get married? You kiding? She is 28 yrs old? Is she an sane? Is she starving? You wouldn´t believe all the quetionss...

We are together now for 3 yrs, mooved to Brzil, plant my organig food, raise my own fishes, got our own healing herbs garden, by the way in the origenal, the word for garden of Eden is, Garden of Volupae,...if you dont know the meanings, dont worry, keep hanging on you old paradimes...I trew away all pills, havent been to a doctor in 6 yrs, my cardiologist died...and I only eat what we cook, not too much food, no viagra, she is my viagra...songs, birds, guitar big yrd, beaches, fresh fish.. .... Am I rich? Is she? NO, we live on less then 5oo us dollars. Belive me. On my spare time? We teach English to poor kids, for free, and it is a lot of fun to see them to bigin to speak it in 30 days, I developed this method. Lear just like a baby. Just hears it and repeat it...and that is the secret of long living...I feel like 50. Flee from birth days celebratios, that is like counting how long before death will catch up with you. Live for others and specially the one that makes you want to live; amd one thing before I go, We both feel God very close by if not within us all day long..welcome to my hortus volupiae. I call it my litle paradise...PAX VOBIS, FRIENDS. js.
