Some data suggest that men who lift weights a few times a week in their 50s and sixties can halt mucle loss ! I am 59 yo and in the past 3 yrs have been working out to some degree every day weights and or cardio 30 mins to an hour! I don,t eat exactly as I should but I eat better than most! I am up to 232 lbs. some fat in places but not enough to slow me down. I don,t lift heavy weights, 20 lbs. dumb bells mostly, I work the the set till I can't lift them and then a rest afew mins and do it again! Twice a week I do push ups, about 200, 50 at a time. I also do squats with the 20 lbs bells in my hands. My blood pressure is great, all my blood work says I'm in good condision. I take no meds at all. Oh and by the way I'm standing at this computer not sitting!

at one time i hated the commercials on tv. then i discovered those 5 minute commercials were just the right time to exercise.i bet you only have 10 to 12 minutes of programming (rest) before the next commercial.

You do not need amimal foods and do not need to mix/match various plants to get all the protein that you need from just eating enough whole foods plants to get the calories that you need.

My gym exercise is only a start.

When alone watching television daily, I also lift barbels. Exercising with training can be safely added to, with safe repetitions during alone-time.
