How is a person to know who or what to believe when looking for skin products and supplements? Everyone's out to make money.

Aging begins at birth. From the very moment we exit the womb, aging begins. Our cells begin the process of multiplication and division over and over again throughout the different stages of our physical growth process. Scientific research has determined that there are two mechanisms in the aging process. I.Intrinsic and II.Extrinsic and both have different meanings to different research groups.
Cosmetic interventions, that target topical aging of the skin, with its vast assortment of lotions, potions and creams, have been in use even before the times of Cleopatra. Today's ingredients and compositions are made of many more "exotic" blends of variations on the same theme.
There needs to be more emphasis placed on the development of Intrinsic anti-aging mechanisms for the skin in conjunction with a "Back to the Basics" in cosmetic skin care so as to give us that "One-Two" punch we all need to really make a dent in the war against aging in the 21st Century.

The biggest factor in wrinkle generation, I believe, is the natural thinning of the skin and a consequent increase in transluscence as we grow older and have less HGH and other skin-friendly hormones in our bodies. Retin-A is one of the only methods to reduce this process. Sun damage can produce age spots, but less collagen and looser skin in a natural result of the thinning process.
In my opinion, you missed a big and important one which is weight ping-poning, which can stretch the collagen fibers.

A topic for all ages. Seemingly a natural bad issue for all-especially for the females. We always hope that we will not be burdoned by such a hard to contol personal beauty harm. A detail report of how the Sun works at causing skin to loose tension and firmness, would be helpful to cosmatitions, doctors, beauty personal, and especially writers of teen age beauty ideals. Tretinoin prescription cream should be made knowledge for all doctors and especially for those who handle pregnancy paatients. The findings will be money maker for many.
