I found this article on health applications. Some are nerdy, but there are great ones, too:
At first I was skeptical, But instead of spending another $20.00 on rejuvenation cream I tried this iPhone application. This is an interactive "Self Acupressure Facelift" application. It’s been about a month and I really do see and feel a difference. This new market is pretty amazing!

Intelitrainer makes a new, balanced workout for me every time I use it. Plus it remembers how I did last time in each area, and based upon that, it adjusts my next workout so that it keeps is interesting, and challenging, but not overly difficult.

I just recently found the FoodEssentials Scanner. It's pretty amazing. You can use it to scan barcodes of foods and it returns the additives, allergen and nutrient properties.
It's a fantastic run training program that starts out easily with one minute runs with a minute and a half of walking between, and then works you up a little each week. I've gone through it and now (after nine weeks) I'm happy running for half an hour, something I never thought I'd manage.
The app does all the timing for me – I just put on some music, and each time I need to run or walk, it talks to me. It even lets me know about turning about in the middle, and it also provides encouragement, letting me know that a run interval has nearly finished.
The Apps presentation is really nice, and very friendly, and that also helped encourage me.

I've been using an app called Drink For Your Health. It is a must have for anyone trying to reach optimal health, like myself!

I have a great iPhone app for those who want to save the skin they are in: iSunBurn give the UV index for your area and sun safety tips.

What about TheCarrot.com? I thought it was a really popular one...and it's a better price than the others: free. It takes Absolute Fitness, Quitter and Kenkou and combines them into one app. Basically, you can track your daily diet and exercise, as well as other things like mood, sleep, smoking, asthma, diabetes (I know there's more...). I like it because it correlates the information you input in the different trackers and shows you how things like diet and mood affect other things like sleep and smoking habits. I actually learned that when I get less sleep, my wheezing from asthma is worse the next day--something I never realized before. If you haven't tested it out yet, it's a great app.
