The right rose

appears in my mind,

and everywhere

shines when the

soft wind remains

in the light of

a flower; the cold

leaf is dead

and here there's

a shadow, the

delicate dark and

a loving profile.

Thanks for the information. I guess the basics apply to every sport and athlete, regardless of their competitive level.

This article is a great insight into Olympic training. I must say, the dedication is impressive.

Mark Warkentin, one of the Olympic contenders mentioned the article above, does absolutely monsterous workouts. Ten 1000-meter swim practices is just one example of the painful, mind-numbing practices that Mark subjects himself to, alone in an isolated aquatic environment. He is also one of the most improved Olympians as he improved his ranking in the 10K Marathon Swim from the twenties to one of the gold medal favorites. You can vote for him as the gold medal favorite in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim at www.10Kswimmer.com.
