Inadequate Vitamin D will make you leech calcium, not too much, Your body cannot process calcium without VIT D. Vit D deficiency is the #1 cause of bone deficiency in women, Adequate calcium is not the problem.
Getting Vitamin D from the sun is the only natural way to get its complete form, So support your local tanning salon. You are 60 times more likely to get serious internal and fatal cancer from VIT D Deficiency then you are to get skin cancer from tanning.

Vitamin D helps with the asorption of calcium and because you weren't taking it with calcium it was causing it to take alternative sources from your body ie teeth.
If our society wasn't so influeneced on the media and what is "in" or following the latest trends than their would be less anual cases of skin cancers.

Does anyone know the truth?

I'm a 44 yo Male. no other health issues other than being abit overweight. just passing along an observation about artificially increasing VIT D.
Living in Alaska, and winters being short on daylight, I began taking cod liver oil capsules (hight vit D). I found that in doing so, very quickly, my teeth took on a yellow tinge and became sensitive. I had also increased my calcium but this still continued. It became clear that the increased vit D was causing my body to leech the calcium from the teeth whether my body needed it or not. I stopped the D and quickly my teeth returned to normal.
It also is my theory that yellowing and or sensitive teeth is a good sign of calcium deficiency (providing that they are not overloading on vit D). My wife had chronically sensitive teeth and within 2 months of taking calcium suppliments, they lost the sensitivity. She can now enjoy cold drinks and ice cream. (Just another semi related observation.)
