This possible link needs to be explored . If it is proven scientifically that this virus will cause susceptible children to grow more fat cells , slower metabolism ect it could lead to real break medical through and a miracle for obese children regarding treatment . Some things in nature are mysteries you never know .

Obesity in children is a matter of concern in recent days and we have to create awareness to help people around lead a healthier life ahead. Even if the obesity in children can't be cut down immediately but can be controlled by hard work and proper guidance of healthy living. The parents can guide what is fit for their health.

You are out of your mind. Diabetes is a genetic susceptability to an environmental cause that is obviously not the common flu. If there is a link it is much easier to propose that diabetes engineered an immunosuppressed environment in which one can contract the flu, not the other way around. You are out of your mind. It is much more fruitfull to focus on genetic factors and preventative medicine than finding excuses for obesity.
