absolutely not. nanny laws dont teach a far more important lesson which is personal responsibility. a responsible individual would not purchase a java chip frap and not just because it has 350mg of sodium. nutritional information is available for pretty much everything. also just because you are fat should not mean i need laws in place that prevent me from enjoying a krispy kreme every once in awhile.

As an adult, you should assume the responsibility of doing things that won't harm you, eating things that won't harm you, and engaging in things that will help you.

We don't need a law for this, what we need are adults to become adults!

Why can't people be responsible for themselves? If I want to eat salty, sugary foods, then I should. I will be the one to have to pay for it. I know what I should and shouldn't eat. I know that I should eat more fiber, whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, etc. LEAVE ME ALONE already!!! I am 34 years old. Please, for the love of Pete, let me make my own decisions. I'm reminded of the movie "Demolition Man" where everything that's bad for you is illegal (including sex)! I can't stand it anymore!
