As a 54-year-old postmenopausal woman, my experience concurrs with the conclusions in this article. Being a former avid walker, I have found that biking works better than walking to keep the pounds off and avoiding middle-age spread. I love my bike! It does help my husband is a rabid cyclist, and will do anything or buy me anything to increase my love of cycling.
