I thought I could do with out the PPI that I had been on for a very long time and was doing well with out it except that I found my BP was going higher than it had been. (the 160s-170s). Is it possible that stomach acid was inhibiting my 2 generic meds, atenelol and enalapril . I went back on the PPI and my BP came down to where it had been. usually in the 130/68 range. Don't know what I should be doing???

To eileen of ND @ May 11, and anybody suffering the same, I has Acid reflux about 3 years ago, I didn't wanted to take any drugs, a friend told me about a natural food supplement that he had used, I ordered and in the last 3 years I had to order it 2 more times. I didn't have to go on any diet, I eat and drink anything I want, no side effects, I didn't get sick then and I'm not sick now and it is safe for any age.

This was a very interesting articule, I have been on omeprazole 20 mg one a day for over two years now, I started with the real thing priolsec. I have had as intestional infection very serve pain for almost three weeks, this last time was not the first time. I've also had very bad colds with them hanging on for 3 to 4 weeks and as long as six weeks when I finally got tested and need medicine to clear up the cough that never seemed to leave me. I'm not sure this medicine has anything to do with all my sickness but I plan to cut back on my omeprazole and see if it makes a difference. I used to be very healthy but after turning 60 something I seemed to catch more things ??Naybe the older folks just seem to catch more bugs, I hope not.
